Day 1Arrival-Transfer to Kandy enroute Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

Upon your arrival at the Colombo International Airport. You will be welcomed by a professional English speaking chauffeur guide. Thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel in Kandy by A/c Van. En Route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage the best place for an up close and personal experience with the world’s largest land mammals! Today with 70 elephants herein, Pinnawala has become the home to the largest captive group of elephants in the world. If you do visit Pinnawala during feeding time, you too will be able to touch and feed the baby elephants in elephant baby bottles and if you feel up to it, we could look at the possibility of getting your assistance to bathe the elephants. On completion, continue to Kandy, and check in to the hotel.
In the evening enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kandy perhaps is Sri Lanka’s most beautiful town. This historic city about 480m above sea level surrounded by mountains was known to Sri Lankan as Kanda Uda Rata, which means the hill country. Kandy was home to Sri Lanka’s last independent Kingdom, which survived two centuries of colonial incursion before finally falling to the British at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Visit the Temple of the tooth, royal Botanical Gardens, the Peradeniya University campus and catch a panoramic view of the picturesque town from Upper lake.
On completion of the at Kandy city tour proceed back to Hotel in Kandy for overnight stay.

Day 2Kandy-Nuwaraeliya

After breakfast proceed to explore the highlands of Nuwareliya popularly known as the little England is a beautiful city situated in the Central Province. It is the city which has the lowest temperature of the whole country during a year being 2000m above the sea level and this climate along with its mountain ranges has given way to large tea plantations, vegetable and fruit plantations to survive quite successfully.
Visit Seetha Amman Temple and Ashok Vatika Temple at the Hakgala Botanical Gardens.
In the evening return to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3Bentota

After breakfast check out of the hotel proceed to Bentota.
Bentota lies at the finishing end of the “Golden Mile” which is an hour’s drive from Colombo. Famous for its prime beaches Bentota is today one of Sri Lanka’s most sought after tourist destinations. The town of Bentota actually, sits on an estuary, where the river and the sea meet. This makes the area quite famous for water sports like windsurfing, scuba diving & snorkeling.
Enjoy a scenic boat ride along the River Madu. You pass dozens of small islands which are forested with mangroves. The mangrove vegetation here is very special and creates a peculiar ecological habitat for an interesting flora & fauna. In this area about 46 species of birds and mammals and reptiles live more other species. Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery. The beaches of Kosgoda are the nesting grounds for five species of marine turtles. Enjoy water sports such as Jet Ski, Banana Ride and Tube Ride (at an extra cost)
Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 4Bentota-Colombo

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to explore Colombo on a city tour. Colombo is the largest city and former capital of Sri Lanka located on the west coast of the island. Colombo is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings. Colombo is a shopper’s paradise! Choose from the many branded wear available at a fraction of the price.It is a fascinating town which has a blend of eastern and western cultures where all colors of the island are drawn together. Many visitors appreciate the city’s colonial heritage and enjoy the vast range of fine shopping and dining outlets that can be located within the rush of its urban buzz.
During your journey through the City of Colombo, you will visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) which is the very first purpose built convention center in Asia that combines the best of professional conference facilities available.Upon completion check into the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 5Departure

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and transfer to the Airport on time for the departure flight.
