Start your travel early in the morning at 06:00 am from Islamabad. Drive to Chilas via Babusar pass which is Approx.375 kms. /10-11 hrs drive. On the way you can freshen up and have lunch at Naran. Arrive in Chilas and transfer to the hotel. Chilas was on the ancient caravan trail over the Babusar Pass into India and on the Indus trail of Besham, and travelers in this area left many rock engravings. Chilas is standing under the shadow of world famous Nanga Parbat.

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and start your journey to Skardu. SKARDU: is the main town of Baltistan along the wide bank of the river Indus very popular with Mountaineering Expeditions. Mostly known for its serene locations, Indus river water, remote valleys, Deosai national park the second highest plateau on earth and world’s second tallest mountain K2.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the scenic beauty around. Overnight at Skardu.
Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and proceed for full day excursion to Satpara & Kachura Lake (Shangrilla). Satpara lake is about 20 minutes drive by jeep, one must not miss a visit to Satpara, a clear water lake surrounded by sky high glacial mountains mirrored in the crystal clear lake. The lake has a fairy tale island easily accessible by boat.(optional). There are different huts serving fresh trout caught from the lake and is a must try for those who like to experience the delicacies. Later proceed to Shangri la Resort named as “Heaven on earth”. This resort has been built around the Kachura Lake; spread over 70 acres, with lush green lawns and fruit laden orchids. The cool breeze coming from Indus side gives the feeling to the guests sitting in the lawns as if they are truly in heaven. In evening return to the hotel in Skardu for overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by full day excursion Khaplu.Erected in the 19th century on a flat piece of land, the Khaplu Fort lies near an earlier mud fort constructed on a hill. The palace is one of the most magnificent 19th century buildings in the Northern Areas. A rectangular Baltistan palace plan type, it is constructed of stone masonry, reinforced with timber members and rendered in lime plaster. Richly embellished with three storeyed timber balconies, verandahs screened with intricate perforated timber jalis (screens), carved timber posts, fascias and fenestrations end up making a magnificent symphony of solids and voids, shadow and light. The lintels, jambs and frames of most doors and windows are richly embellished. Khaplu Fort is a rectangular plan type with an inner small courtyard and a lager garden. In late afternoon transfer back to your hotel in Skardu. Overnight in Skardu
After breakfast at hotel, relax & enjoy the surroundings till you start your journey to Chilas. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. the rest of the day is at your own leisure to discover the area at your own pace.

After breakfast start your journey to Naran which is Approx on 130 Kms drive( 2:30 hrs ) Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. It is one of the most beautiful part of northern areas in pakistan which is elevated 2500 meters above sea level. Its beauty captures a lot of people towards itself and thus it is a famous resort for tourists and trekkers. The weather of Naran is very cold. The ice on the moutain tops never melts, even in months of June and Jully there are glaciers and mountains are covered with snow

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and proceed for half day excursion to Lake Saif ul Maluk situated at a distance of 10 km from Naran at an altitude of 3200 meters above sea level, the lake and its surroundings have a touch of unreal about them and are breathtakingly lovely. The lake offers an inspiring view of Malka Parbat (Queen of Mountains), which is 17,360 feet high. You can either take packed lunch or have it at one of the Khokas serving fresh trout fish.
In the afternoon drive back to Islamabad.
