You’ll ride through Laranjeiras, one of the city’s oldest residential districts, and through the traditional Cosme Velho neighborhood. Here, you will board a mountain train for a scenic trip through the Tijuca forest, the largest urban forest in the world. Day 3City Tour & Sugar Loaf Mountain

After breakfast at the hotel, stroll around the cosy and sweet streets in this serene little area that just also happens to be where Rio de Janeiro was officially founded as a city. Your guide will take you on a Rio de Janeiro city tour, including a trip to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Visit historical landmarks and golden beaches, and then take the cable car gondola ride to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, a granite peak overlooking Guanabara Bay. Enjoy panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro’s curvy coastline and forests.

If you wish you can take an additional excursion to the Argentinian side of the Falls. You will get to the Argentinian Side of the Falls by the bridge Tancredo Neves, built over the river Iguassu. The Argentinian side is different from the Brazilian one – here you will be under and below the falls at the same time. You will feel the power of the falling water very close to you and will be able to enjoy the natural park around this astonishing beauty. You will see the birth of the “Devil Throat”. Overnight stay in Iguazu Falls.

    Day 6Iguazu Falls

After breakfast you will have an unforgettable program at the Brazilian side of the Falls. Foz de Iguassu Falls are located on the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay – and have 275 large water flows, falling from a terrible height. Falls are located in the National Park with its unique flora and fauna, which appeared after a volcanic eruption, and the displacement of the earth formations. There are 275 water-falls, each of which has its own name, which rush down with a crash into the canyon of “Devil’s Throat”. There is an amazing contrast between the calm and even lazy river water over Iguassu Falls above and the powerful overthrow boiling water flows from a height of 72 meters into the abyss. You can stand for hours without stopping, watching this show and thinking about the magnificence of the universe and eternity. You will go on a trip “Makuko safari” through the jungle. Ride in the open back of the jeep for about 3 kilometers, accompanied by a guide who will tell you many interesting things about the ecology of the region. Then you go on foot to the river Iguazu, where a motor boat will carry you close to the falls. You will then enjoy an excursion to the Bird Park, located near the National Park of Iguaçu. You can go into the huge open-air cages full of fabulous birds.
